Anyone can join. If is not necessary to live in Demarest to join.
How do I join?
To become a full member complete the membership form.
First time members have the option to become a sponsored member for one year.
Can I join if I do not live in Demarest?
Yes, you can join even if you do not live in Demarest. You need to become a sponsored member if you are not a Demarest resident.
What is a "sponsored" member?
A sponsored member is a member who does not live in Demarest or someone in Demarest who has never before belonged to the swim club. This option gives people the opportunity to enjoy the pool on a trial basis for one season.
Where can I get a membership form?
To join as a regular seaonal member, use this membership form. First time members can join as a sponsored member using this form.
How much does it cost to join the swim club?
The cost is determined by whether the family is: a returning member, a fist time member, or a sponsored member.
Returning members: seasonal dues: $625
First time membership:
- One time initiation fee: $200
- Seasonal dues: $625
- Bond: required
Sponsored Members: $700 (can do this for one year only).
- Note: If sponsored member chooses to return the next summer as a seasonal member, the $200 initiation fee is waived.

Who can take swim lessons?
Anyone age 5 and up can take swim lessons, if there is a space availale in the appropriate class. Sign-ups for the first session are June 11 and 12th, at the front desk of the pool club.
